DTM Esports 2024 kicks off once again

The first round of the official DTM Esports series kicked off over the weekend, with drivers battling through a rigorous qualifying campaign to bag a spot on the grid. Their aim? To win a share of the huge €50,000 prize pool and a test in a Dörr Motorsport GT4 racecar.

And with the current shortage of paid sim racing opportunities, DTM Esports has a strong field featuring former champions like Moritz Löhner and Kevin Siggy, all making the most of the Sector 3 Studios’ ageing Raceroom Racing Experience.

However, it was FaZe Clan’s Tim Jarschel who stole a march on the competition, taking a win on his way to the championship lead. The battle for top honours could still go any number of ways, however.
