In a surprise move, Kunos Simulazioni dropped the new-for-2024 Ford Mustang GT3 into the PC version of Assetto Corsa Competizione last week, bringing some authentic US muscle to the sim.

Coming hot on the heels of the Nürburgring 24HR Pack DLC, the new car is a fine addition and replicates the raucous V8 found in this season’s GT World Challenge and FIA World Endurance Championships.

The big question is: does this represent the final piece of DLC for ACC, or will we see the sim developed beyond the release of Kunos’ upcoming Assetto Corsa Evo later this year?
